Blue skies, smooth shoulder, and a strong tailwind made today’s 80 miles extra fun. Plus the scenery was terrific. Rock formations reminiscent of Zion!
Made Lander by 6:30 and immediately connected with Phillip, a young German guy riding from NY to SF. We found the city park where you can camp for free and then pedalled into Lander for dinner. Very cool guy who is headed to New Zealand and Australia after this tour. Wow!
As for me, I’m heading for Rawlins if I can get that far (its 126 miles, which may be more than I can do).
